Will what I tell you stay private?
Yes. Everything we learn in our work with you stays confidential, during and after. When we talk to your staff, nothing they say is quoted with their name. We only share what you agree to share, with the people you choose.
How are your fees set?
Before any work starts, you agree a fixed fee in writing. We never take a share of a sale and never bill by the hour. That way, our fee can never depend on what we find.
Can I pay for a better score?
No. Fees pay for the work, not the result. If something didn’t improve, the report says so. A report where every number went up wouldn’t be believed, and it shouldn’t be.
What if the news isn’t good?
You’ll hear it plainly, with the context to understand it. We start every report with what’s strong, and we never soften a low score to keep a client.
What don’t you do?
We don’t value businesses, give tax, legal, accounting or investment advice, or find buyers. When something belongs to another professional, we say so and point you to them.
What if Corefield isn’t right for me?
We’ll tell you. If the business is too small for paid work yet, if the timing is wrong, or if the problem lies elsewhere, we’ll say so and suggest who can help. You can also stop any engagement at its agreed stopping points, without penalty.
What if my accountant or broker referred me?
Then your relationship with them stays as it is. We won’t offer you anything that competes with their work, and we keep them informed with your permission.
